Bill Jarvis
CELESTIAL ANGEL (Jarvis 2006)
I've been hybridizing since about 1985 although for the first dozen years or so it was just a casual hobby. More recently however, I have been learning from other hybridizers and have started to become a little more serious. I work only with tetraploids and am currently concentrating on edged daylilies. I think my biggest obstacle in hybridizing is my lack of space. I only have a regular sized city lot here and I try and keep the front yard looking like a reasonably normal front yard. Of course the back yard is mostly daylily beds. I have room for less than 1000 seedlings each year so I have to be very selective in my crosses. This is still just a hobby for me and I don't sell commercially.
Here are the daylilies I have registered
