Kevin Eaves
Seedling 97-136-3
I have been growing daylilies for only about 5 years. I got my start
when a friend from Louisiana gave me some of her daylilies and then
it was too late. I was hooked. I currently have about 200 registered
cultivars and at least that many of my own. I have been dabbing pollen
for about 4 years now. I have yet to register anything, but I do feel that
I have some that would be good to give a name to. I feel like my main
focus has been doubles and reds. I work with both tets and dips.
As with many backyard dabblers I have very limited space.
Out of the 2000+ seeds that I get each year I can only plant about
400 to 500. This year I am trying something new and might get to
about 900.
My yard is not completely filled with flowerbeds, so there is still
room to grow.
Here's some of my seedlings
