Fantasy Garden Viewing Problems?

Windows XP users - I'm not computer savy enought to know why (perhaps because I am using an older verions of Macromedia Flash), but when trying to view these video pages using XP you may get an information bar advising you that "Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer". You can click the bar and allow blocked content to view the video.

These pages are created with Macromedia Flash (see below for more info on flash). Because these flash files are fairly large (around 1 meg), these pages work best with a high speed connection (cable or DSL). The pages will work on a slower connection but they will take a while to load (3-4 minutes at 56K).

If you want to see a repeat performance, just wait about 10 seconds or so and the movie will start again at the beginning.

Note: I have had reports of problems with older computers, especially if you have only 32 Meg of memory. I'm sorry but I can't do anything about that. I have already scaled the audio down to the minimum reasonable quality so that as many can view the pages as possible.

The Flash plug-in is already installed on a majority of computers. If you don't already have Flash installed, some systems will ask you if you want to install it while others won't (I don't know why). If you don't have it and are not asked if you want to install it, you will just see a black screen after the page loads. If this happens, you can download and install the Shockwave Player installation file (which includes Flash) directly from the Macromedia web site: http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/frameset.fhtml?

If all else fails, the images can be found in my photo gallery but you'll have to provide your own music :=)
